A bit about Me…

Hi, my name is Samantha. I am a wife, mother of 3 and yes…self confessed craft addict and am now studying Interior Design!! I have been a folk and decorative artist for the past 11 years specialising in children’s murals and have dabbled in nearly every craft from quilting to beading to cross stitch. Then about 6 years ago a dear friend in Newcastle introduced me to scrapbooking and what can I say, it has just grown from there.

After losing my mum to MS 7 years ago I had realised that with her went a lot of memories. I have had an increasing interest in history and genealogy and have been tracing my family history, not only for myself but my children. I am very lucky to have been given a large number of keepsakes and old photos from the various branches of our family. I have found scrapbooking the most wonderful way to combine all of this history and get it out of a dusty old box and adding the wonderful stories (journalling) to go along with all this. Then displaying it in a beautiful album for my children and other family and friends to share for years to come.

Nearly two years ago a lovely friend of mine introduced me to Stampin’ Up and I have been hooked ever since. I am so impressed with the quality and variety in the products and then it all comes displayed in the most beautiful Catalogue which I use as a constant reference. I joined the company as a consultant in May last year and have already met the most lovely and supportive group of ladies, not to mention extremely talented!!

My goal is to help people (both children and adults) to express themselves creatively. I moved to Melbourne’s West 4 years ago and had found it incredibly difficult to find that creative circle of people to help me learn and continue growing in my craft and interests. Stampin Up has provided me with the most wonderful opportunity to do this.

I would like to invite you to follow along on my blog and if you have any questions, or would like me to create something in particular, please don’t hesitate to email.

Happy Stamping, Sam!
